Comic Workshop

In partnership with the Embassy of Japan in Zimbabwe / 在ジンバブエ日本国大使館 and supported by Rank Zimbabwe, we're hosting comic workshops at OTAKUKON, presented by Bill Masuku Art. Award-winning Zimbabwean comic creator Bill Masuku is internationally recognised for his work with Disney x Kugali's Emmy-nominated series Iwájú, Netflix, and his upcoming graphic novel Runeless, to be published by Disney Hyperion in October 2026. A Forbes Africa Under 30 honouree, Bill's work has also been published in Japan and featured across Africa and beyond.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is open to all ages and skill levels.
